Luana Phipps, who is at risk for sudden cardiac death, wanted to move to a remote part of Alaska to be with her family. There were concerns that being 600 miles from her doctor would not be possible. With the Merlin@home Transmitter, her Cardiologist, Dr. Steven Compton, is able to remotely monitor her defibrillator and heart.
